Thinking about Indonesia next July

I'd been planning and saving for vietnam Cambodia and Thailand but I've been talked out of it because of the rainy season.

We're now looking at Indonesia as an alternative but I don't know where to start!

Has anyone got any tips or ideas? We will be there for 4 weeks.

We stayed in Bali- few nights in Singapore (hotel Jen orchard gateway) visited Raffles and marina bay sands etc then flight to Bali to head to candidasa for a night then over to gilli trawangan for 5 nights in le pirate hotel, it’s amazing but make sure you book a reputable boat over! Then back to Bali, a few days in ubud then rounded off in seminyak.

Well you might want to consider Borneo as an alternative as it is dry season then. If sticking with Indonesia, I would want to go to Raja Ampat

Currently planning on Lombok for a few days of post-exam relaxation

On to Komodo for a couple of days

Then looking at Sulawesi, Borneo, Yogyakarta but still open to new ideas.

We're very excited now!

We did Bali, Sumbawa and Komodo on mini cruise and loved it. Komodo was brilliant and thrilling. If you get the opportunity you must go.
