Have any mumsnetters been? Very early stages of planning a trip, possibly driving via the Harwich-hook of Holland ferry, staying in the area for at least a week.
Kids will be 3 and 5 next summer or we may wait until the following summer.

Any recommendations of places to go/stay/best way to get there would be much appreciated.

We’d also consider flying to Copenhagen or Billund and hiring a car.

We have been a couple of times
We stayed at Lalandia which is similar to Centre Parcs
They have a variety of rental villas and an indoor water place, soft play etc

You can buy combined passes so you can visit LEGOLAND each day of your stay or just buy the LEGOLAND entrance separately

When our children were smaller we found it easier to go for a shorter time on separate days
