How busy is Thomas land?

DD will be 3 in half term, and has just been telling me how she wants to go on a train and see Thomas. Drayton Manor is not too far away, but is expensive for the 4 of us. Is it worth it? Will there be so many people there that we will spend ages queuing (not ideal with 2 small children)? For comparison, we went to Peppa Pig world in the summer and found the queues there were reasonable and she enjoyed the rides.

I think Peppa pig land is better, its clenaer and seems to flow better but Thomas land is nice, some queues can be long and a few of the rides seem to break down fairly frequently but as most of the rides in that part of the park are for under 5s it's never horrendous.

It's not easy to get a train to (if that's what you meant sorry). Much better to drive. It's probably worth taking the pushchair too and loading up with snacks and food and drink is both rubbish and expensive.

There are some other rides you could go on in the wider park too.

It's not too bad. Avoid the stalls where you can win things though, next to impossible and you end up with a very disappointed child!

We were there recently and it wasn't too bad.

We went around Christmas last year and enjoyed it - quite a bit for ours who were then 4 and 2 to do - queues not too bad. We preferred it to peppa pig world - although it is more cramped we found more to do. That said DS preferred a real steam Thomas day at our local steam railway which was also cheaper - so if there are any local to you that might be an option.
