Heathrow Airport Hotel

Which hotels have you stayed at near Heathrow Airport and how did you get there? Preferably ones which are within a few miles of the airport.

I don't really want to drive and leave my car for 2 weeks and ideally want to stay the night before as I need to check in at 5am.

Any suggestions will be helpful, thanks.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn. Its on the airport bus link service goes to all terminals and all hotels nearby. Think the bus was £3 a person and you can get reception to book you on a specific timing one. Pretty bog standard but clean.

Not really going to be there that long.....

I've stayed at the Ibis. Cheap and the airport shuttle serves it. Not sure how to get to it not from the airport as was between flights but suppose you go to the airport and take the shuttle out or a taxi.

We stayed at the Hilton, as it gave us free parking while we were on holiday, so worked out to be cost effective. Can't remember which terminal it's on, but walking out of the hotel straight to check in was brilliant.

Hilton is at T4, i think?
Jurys Hotel is by Hatton Cross tube station, which has direct links into T1,2,& 3.

Have been looking and a lot of the shuttle buses don't start early enough. Will look at the Jurys and the Hilton though.
