Eurocamp as single parent with DS

Hi. I'm looking to book a holiday in France next summer, and I'm thinking about tenting it at a Eurocamp but I've never been to one before.

It's just going to be me and my 7 year old and I'm wondering if this type of holiday will work OK?

My son is extremely sociable and loves nothing better than running around in a big gang of children of all ages, which Eurocamp seems to offer. Plus, if I'm honest, I'm seriously tempted by the kids club as it will give me a bit of a break (rare...). There seems to be loads to do and I'm hoping it won't matter if it's just us!

It's always the evenings that are a bit tricky though. I'm going to be more than happy sitting outside the tent, reading with a glass in hand, but I'm a bit wary of it all being big groups guffawing away while I'm on my lonesome!

Can anyone offer any insight or maybe even recommend any particular parks that might suit us? I'm thinking mid France, so maybe Vendee region, possibly down to the south i.e. Beziers.

Thanks v much.

Not all sites have the kids clubs so check in the brochure including what dates the clubs are on.
We tend to sit outside with a glass of wine and a book in the evening. Kids go off on their bikes with their friends. Yes there are some big groups on site but plenty of quieter groups too.
