i would risk it. Carry their birth certs and decent Id for you.. As I said I managed to do the trip Dublin to Heathrow and back again with no ID at all.. The worst that could happen is they could tell you off in Ireland or in Leeds they might not let you travel.. Can you check in online, then you can just go straight to security.

you need valid licence/passport... who are you travelling with?
Ryan air's website indicates all fine, having said that I always travelled with birth cert as well, as I never changed maiden name when got hitched

I'd say give it a go, and worst case scenario you'll be at the airport, so can easily get on a flight to belfast and then get a train down.

Yorkie AFAIK, this still holds true, if you have some form of ID for your dd it should be OK.
