Going to Florida on Sat- just how tired are my kids likely to be for the first few days??

something I hadnt thought about, but tonight dawned on me.

they have been asleep since 1930- so thats about 1430 in orlando.... are they going to be really, really tired for the first few days??

Much less tired than you will be and they are going to be bouncy too!

It normally hits badly on day 2 or 3.

I would think they'll be up and ready for the day's activities by 4 or 5AM!

Yeah, they'll be up by 3 or 4 in the morning the first day, then sleep in until 6 the next, then ok, but tired for the next few days.

Trick is, from my experience, is once the plane lands, you try to live in the time zone you're in. So yeah, they'll be very tired in the afternoon there, but try to keep them up until 6pm or 7pm local time, so they adjust faster. (Also so you spend fewer mornings trying to find things open at 5am!)

(We go to the same time zone in Canada, every year.)
