I know there's going to be things that I'm not going to think of so any ideas would be great. Also if anyone had been to Lanzarote, have you got any tips for holidaying on the Island?

After my experience in Lanz, I'd leave the baby at home - sorry that's really not helpful at this stage!

A thermometer and Infant Calpol.

Formula if you are not bf, and the baby is fussy over brands. I think you can get pretty much everything else over there.

went to Lanzarote with ds1 at 9 months. It was fine. Got nappies, wipes etc. over there, tended to try and get him stuff off our plates to eat when we could. There's lots of fish.

If you're using formula, we were advised to buy Evian to make it up - it has a lower sodium content than many of the other mineral waters.

Hire a car if you can.

We went in February and it was cold - wished we'd taken warm jumpers.. had to buy DS a v. expensive Adidas tracksuit! It was either that or a tacky I love Lanzarote outfit, and I didn't think I'd re-use that somehow...
