Hulababy · 14/07/2004 14:58

Also:

Do you drive?
Are you near any airport/port/train station?

Hulababy · 14/07/2004 15:01

And when? Soon? School holidays? Later in year?

Ryan Air have some 99p flights at the moment for travel between September and January.

Nottingham Moat house has two nights for £70 for both of you and the pool looks nice!

Hulababy · 14/07/2004 15:10

If you can get a cheap flight to say somwehere in Europe try staying at a Formule1 hte; They are very cheap at about £14 a night for a triple room. They are not ensuite rooms but very clean. They have a double bed and a single bunk above, and TV. The toilet and shower are extraordinary clean and just down corridor. I have stayed in one once in Riems and it made for a bargain holiday.

nikcola · 14/07/2004 15:10

yeh dd has a passport,
do you no what the silly thing is ive got a nan in blackpool, a nan in alicante, and a step sister in brighton and i dont get on with any of them except alicante nan

Nikki the problem is that it's the school holidays so flights will be going through the roof as of now. I would stick to uk unless you find a cheap package

Look on www.laterooms.com they have great deals
Or stay in a b&b they are often v cheap and nice

What do you want
Sea/sand
Swimming pool
City break

nikcola · 14/07/2004 15:15

im dont no im being a pain i just really want to go somwhere where dd will have a good time for a change i might go and stay with my aunt in brum then i can go and see nuttys house , my aunt has 5 kids so dd will have someone to play with for a change

CountessDracula · 14/07/2004 15:15

here is a good site for holiday parks - they have caravans this weekend for £99 for eg

Hulababy · 14/07/2004 15:16

I just did an EasyJet search for Luton to Amsterdam (first one I got too!) in August for a fwew days. For the two of you you could get a return flight, including taxes for about £80. Maybe a bit less. Outward flight was only £6.99 each!

katzguk · 14/07/2004 15:17

what about a trip to eurodisney, £159 for both of you travelling on eurostar one night in a hotel

CountessDracula · 14/07/2004 15:17

Sorry chalets make that, and five star luxury caravans! They look great, have swimming pools etc and many are on beaches. Loads of stuff for kids

katzguk · 14/07/2004 15:20

actually eurostar looks quite cheap cause DD would be free

CountessDracula · 14/07/2004 15:29

surely the cost of these flights etc wouldn't leave you much change for anywhere to stay?

Do you mean £100 in total or just for travel?

nikcola · 14/07/2004 18:50

£100 in total oh well it looks like im going to have to grovel to some of my family or go on a day trip xxxxxxxx
