Hong Kong and where else for a beach resort?

We have been to Koh Samui last year so it can't be there.

Thinking about a few days in HK and then on to a beach resort for a week.

We will be traveling with a 14 and 18 year old so we will need 2 rooms or a villa type place.

Happily return to Thailand but I'd prefer somewhere new.

Thanks.

Bali. Or Malaysia has some lovely beaches. Vietnam too.

Try Boracay in the Philippines.

Of just the no6 bus to Repulse Bay?

Langkawi.

I used to live in HK as a child so I'm dying to go back and show my kids my school/flat etc.
I remember repulse bay and big wave beach 🌊

Borneo?

Langkawi was wonderful. The datai was a super hotel

Langkawi sounds appealing , so does Borneo but I'd imagine the flight back would be brutal.
Ideally I'd prefer to fly directly home to London.

Hoi an in Vietnam - but you would probably need to fly back via hcmc or fly back to HK then London.
Borneo - could go back via KL and have a night or two there.

We combined hk with langkawi

What time of year? Bali has quite different weather to other SE Asian countries so I think it depends on when you're travelling.

I lived in Hong Kong as a child and remember the beaches there. Repulse Bay and Deepwater Bay were great. And so easy to get around the island.

We combined HK with Bali, but had to fly home via HK as we were flying with Cathay Pacific.
