Would love to take DS (10) somewhere sunny for a week over Xmas. My local airport fly to the Canaries so I thought that would be a good bet. I would like AI and somewhere with loads to do for DS - kids entertainment, sporty stuff, good pools. Somewhere near a water park would be ideal and somewhere pretty safe, as it would just be us 2, oh and a nice beach, although I think I would prefer to stay in the hotel and by the pool quite a bit of the time.
We went to costa adeje in Tenerife years ago and enjoyed that so would definitely consider there again. I can't remember the name of the hotel we stayed in so any recommendations for good family friendly hotels there appreciated.
DS is sporty and full of energy so there would have to be lots on for kids.
