Woodlands Farm Trust (331 Shooters Hill) is having their annual lambing day this saturday 7th from 10-4pm. Last year we saw lambs being born and they had a seperate petting section for the older ones. They also arrange other activities. Woodlands Farm Trust
They also had a cow, pig, chickens, donkeys, duck pond, bee hives etc. Not as much planned as for their Spring/Autumn shows but it is free.
Then pop up the road for a bite to eat in The Best Kept Secret Cafe and a potter around Oxleas Woods.

Thanks Piximon. We are local (I can just remember Woodlands when it was the RACS Farm ) and have never been, to my shame. We'll try and get there this weekend.

that looks lovely - it is DD2s birthday on Sunday so a day at the farm on Saturday would be just the ticket, if can persaude a reluctant DH (promise not to berate me about my lack of squares if we bump into each other there Marina)

thanks piximon

We've been to Woodlands before, the kids loved it. A lovely bit of rural life smack in the middle of the burbs!
