Tesco clubcard vouchers for days out - some questions

Anyone used clubcard vouchers lately?

Do they really take 7 days to arrive?
Are they limited to the attraction you have ordered them for?

We are going to London Zoo next weekend but worried the vouchers won't arrive in time

They send them by email don't they? Never taken long before

It depends on the attraction, so check the terms on the club card site. A lot of them are just a voucher with a face value that you would use like cash, they don't have the name of the place on so can be used at any place that takes them. Some are more specific, so an entry ticket or pass that is specific to the attraction. Some are by email.
The postal ones I've got tend to take 3 days to arrive.

I used them recently for Woburn Safari Park and they came straight away via email.

It will tell you on the webpage whether the token are emailed or posted to you. Even the posted ones tend to arrive within 5 days for us so far.

The tokens we had over the summer were for the specific named places - we've had ones in the past that were just general but this year's could only be used in the place named on the tokens.

Thanks

It says they will be posted out so I'm not sure I can gamble on it

Very annoying as it would cost me £40 in Tesco vouchers for £160 of zoo. We could do 2 for 1 on the train (bit of a faff) but that will still cost £100

Used at tower of London and Hampton court.
Yes they took a few days to arrive

AveEldon · 11/09/2017 12:19

Thanks

I called Tesco and they said that they will be good for all the partner days out.

If they are the general days out vouchers (the ones that turn £2.50 into £10) as opposed to the ones that are £9 for a legoland ticket then it's probably worth you getting the vouchers as even if they don't come in time you can use them elsewhere

AveEldon · 14/09/2017 22:08

Just to update - they arrived today (ordered Monday) and they are indeed general days out vouchers so can be used in other places (not limited to London Zoo)
