Algarve/Majorca/Ibiza - What works??

I'd like to find accommodation in the Algarve, Majorca and Ibiza that I'd love so much that I'd be happy to return again and again with my family. The novelty of finding somewhere new has gone. Also don't want to blow all my yearly holiday budget on one 5* holiday.

The wish list would be:

• easy to book!
• short taxi transfer from airport (max 1 hour)
• accommodation for 2 adults, 3 kids (this can be tricky to find. Ideally 2 bed to keep costs down)
• flexible on board options but if self catering need easy access to supermarkets
• restaurants (if needed) within walking distance

Give me hope please! Name your favourites.

Well, I have posted here this week to find somewhere like Puerto Pollensa in Mallorca to try a change of scene...Puerto Pollensa fits all of these things (we have been renting a villa the last couple of years as 3 kids is indeed, a nightmare for holiday accommodation!).

Carvoeiro in the Algarve, about 45 minutes from Faro, lots of self catering apartments and villas, nice sandy beach, and wide choice of restaurants etc. Lots of people come back time and time again

We first visited in 1988 and got the bug, and have now lived here for nearly 15 years!
