Has anyone just taken the plunge and taken a year off work - it is possible for us in the public service to take a "sabbatical" and I'm dreaming of it. I feel I could do with a breather and enjoy my youngest child's year before school. Children are aged 6, 5 and 3. What would the French education system be like? Could they adapt to the language as easily as some would have us believe? We have no mortgage and could just about take no income for a year in the interests of broadening our minds !!! All suggestions gratefully received.
