Long haul travel on Tinzaparin

Hi friends!
It's my first time posting here but I just wanted to get some opinions. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and on daily tinzaparin injections (I have a family history of DVT). I would like to fly back to South Africa to visit my family but I am worried about the risk of DVT on a long haul flight. My consultant said I should be fine if I do lots of walking and drink lots of water, and the fact that I already am on blood thinners will help. But I wanted to hear if anyone else had flown long haul on tinzaparin or clexane?

I did on Clexane. I have anti phospholipid syndrome, or Hughes and also took aspirin daily.

I'm sorry to say this, but I had a miscarriage when I landed. It could clearly be a coincidence (it was my 4th MC, but followed DD1 safe delivery). I was only 8 weeks though so far less established. I would take your consultants advice though as each case will be different.

Could your family not come and visit you instead? It sounds risky TBH, but I'm not a doctor, just a cautious person.
