Florida keys hotel recommendations

We're planning a holiday to Florida next year. Our first week will be in Orlando then driving down to the keys. We'd like a really lovely hotel in the keys, one that has two bedroom suites or two adjoining rooms and is on a beach. Any recommendations?

We stayed at Hawks Cay which was on Duck Key (one of the Middle Keys). It was a lovely hotel. We stayed in one room but they do have suites and apartments on site.

It really was. Some very lovely local eateries with some of the best seafood ever (also the best key lime pie!!)

I think the pie might swing it!!

We stayed at hawks cay 2 weeks ago.
Get a sunset villa. It's is so beautiful there.
We found fab places to eat offsite about 5 to 15 mins away.
Much cheaper and more interesting.

We went to the grassy outpost for amazing crab cakes
The stuffed pig for breakfast
And the SS wreck and galley bar for lovely dinners. I had a gorgeous tuna steak there.

I didn't see sparkys landing

We also went to key west for the day which was beautiful.

Its the one place that I really want to go back to. Loved it.
