Travel Insurance for Disney World Trip

So my friends and I (6 people total) are planning a trip to WDW for April 2019, we're gonna be booking Jan/Feb 2018, and we're looking into options for travel insurance. We're booking with Virgin Holidays so were thinking of Virgin travel insurance, have people got any experience with Virgin or other recommendations for travel insurance to cover us from booking to return?

We have just returned after two weeks at Disney with Virgin. We used our bank account which had a travel insurance. I think we upgraded especially for the trip which was cheaper.

I'd love to go back with no children!

You don't have to take Virgin travel insurance, you can do a search for other types that might have better cover for a cheaper price (I buy annual travel insurance via my employer).
Just make sure you buy it just before you book and it covers USA.

QuitMoaning thanks, yeh I didn't really know where to start looking? Nothing (that I found) with my bank account, and the Virgin price seemed reasonable (about £70 each for the year) but wanted to get some info from people who used them, or who maybe had suggestions on where else to look. Bit of a newb with stuff like this haha

DailyMail was it good! We're so excited haha it's expensive but gonna be a pretty unique experience haha

We went with Admiral an annual family policy for us with them - including USA - was £114 including some minor medical inclusions.

We usually use insure and go.

Dh was admitted to hospital in florida and they sorted everything out straight away. No hassle at all. The bill was over 5k for a 4 hours stay.

The hospital called them and they sorted it out with the hospital. So glad we had them. We arr going in january and will use them again.
