we're heading over to N Ireland later this week but via friends in Dumfries and Galloway so we're using the Cairnryan - Larne route....thing is dd1 is not a good traveller on windy roads, any idea what the crossong is likely to be like?

If I give her some medication will it make her horribly sleepy? It's only a 1hr 45min crossing.
If so any recommendations?
or is she best sitting outside in the air?

My dd takes Joyrides and they have always worked well. On the packet it does say they can make you drowsy but they do make dd drowsey, she is 7 but has been taking them on long journeys since she was about 5.

mmm might just try those kslatts - especially as we're travelling on Easter Sunday - might have to hide the chocolate until we get there lol

thanks for answering - thought I'd be dealing with sea sickness on my own - especially as I'm not great either

You can take Joyrides too and I think only 20mins before (check packet). Absolutely no chocolate
