Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay in sorrento for a family?

Only going for 3 nights in October. It is me, dh and two dds (12and 10). We plan to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius etc. Place we were recommended doesn't seem to exist now! Thanks

I can say it to stay in Europe Palace but the one next door Royal something is good.

How do you feel about staying near Herculaneum instead? Hotel Herculaneum is right opposite and very nice. The surrounding area isnt as naice as Sorrento but not rough by Naples standards!

We rented an apartment we found on airbnb.

We stayed in a hotel called Hotel alpha in sant'agnello. It's close to a train station so very easy to get to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Very friendly hotel with pool.

We're staying in the Rota suites in Sorrento as they are mini apartments with a bedroom and sofa bed in the living room. Not sure what they're like as we haven't been yet, but they're highly rated on trip advisor and were within budget.
