Self catering in the Vendee

Looking (it feels like in vain!!) for self catering gite style accommodation on the Vendee coast. I love the look of pagel (I've seen it recommended here) as we have two children aged 4 and 1 to cater for, so ideally something like this, but not as far south. It must at least have a pool.

Any recommendations? Or ideas of what websites I should be looking at?

Thank you for any ideas!

Probably not exactly what you are looking for but the La Garangeoire campsite has some gite type accommodation. It's around 15 minutes from the coast.

I would avoid Madame Vacances. We stayed in a nice villa but it was on a complex set up for golfers so no character and the clubhouse wasn't welcoming at all. We were charged over €100 for end of stay clean. I agreed as was shattered with a 3 year old and 8 month old! Lovely area though. If you decide to book a mobile home look at Camping La Foret near Not really Dame de Monts - immaculate camp site 10 minutes walk through pine forest to a gorgeous uncrowded beach.

We stayed here and it was perfect for young families with the pool a kids play equipment. Was just under an hour from the coast though.
