We have booked a holiday at Yedi Tepe with sunsail, largly due to the review in Mumsnet. Has anyone been there recently, and what was it like? How did you find the chids clubs. Ds is 5 and Ds is 2 and a bit, is there anything that you would recomend we take.....Oh, and how easy was it to get disposable nappies?

Thanks for any help!

hmb - we've just booked for sunsail at Farness, and I was just about to ask the same questions!! Can we share this thread?
Ds is just 1 so any advice about what to pack and more importantly what we can buy there would be appreciated.

Thought I'd try again - Anyone have any advice on what to pack for a one year old in Turkey - especially nappies ( at the moment it looks as if we're taking ds's clothes and nappies and one clean top for me!

Not much help, but we went to Cyprus 2 years ago and Pampers were readily available - there was a woolworths that sold a lot of UK baby things - so I guess it depends on how commercialised the resort is - or you could contact Sunsail direct at the resort and ask the staff about the availability of baby products.

We went to Yedi Tepe last summer and Farmess this July. The kids clubs were great at both. Ds aged 9 and dd aged 5 cried when we had to come home both times, they loved it so much.
No experience with nappies but I would have thought at Yedi Tepe there'd be no problem buying everyting as it's so near to Bodrum and the tourist areas. Farmess is a bit more remote - contacting the club direct is a good idea.
Tips about what to take - waterproof sun cream for the whole holiday, mozzie cream (Sunsail provide the mozzie repellents that plug into the wall), diarolyte, shoes for use in the sea. On the transfer bus, make sure the rep tells you what time kids tea is and where it is as that can be a bit confusing when you first arrive. Also, ask about the video club that runs during dinner - you may not get told about it otherwise until the following morning.
If you want to know anything more, let me know.

Just thought of 2 other things. Make sure you take some smaller bottles of sun cream (not just family size) as the children need to take one with them to the kids clubs. Also, take at least 2 swimsuits for each child as clothing inevitably goes missing (it does turn up again in the end!)
