Cottages or lodges not caravans. Ideally, not more than about 3 hours drive from Calais. Large family group aged 11-85! Plenty for kids to do & places to visit locally. Would consider Center Parcs especially if in area where not guaranteed sunshine. Must be disabled friendly. Thanks Smile

could it be a lodge on a caravan park or are you looking for a place with only lodges/cottages ? Dsis just got back from a Huttopia site where she stayed in a lodge and really rated it, they have sites all over France

We are just back from our second holiday in Whimper, Brittany - here, lanniron.com/en/. They have three gites on site, including one very large house, as well as some chalet type things which are quite nice, not as close together as soon I have seen on other sites. It has a lovely big pool and wasn't too crowded even in August. Lots of things to do in the are for all ages. Weather wasn't fantastic though, but didn't stop us having an enjoyable holiday.
