Mexico next April

Dh and I usually have a child free week away every April, the last few years we have been to New York but this time would like a relaxing beach holiday.

I have heard a lot about Mexico.
Will the weather be nice in April?

We only have a week to spare but realise it will probably be 9 days by the time we have factored in an overnight stay at Manchester and then the timing of the return flight.
We would like all inclusive but no nothing about any of the individual resorts.

Any suggestions/ recommendations please?

We like it. Yes it will be very hot. Go down the riviera may not cancun. There is lots to do outside the resorts so do go out and explore
