Arg! 10 days in North Yorkshire with Sister in Law and family, going to have 5 children under 8 and hoping for sunshine! But weather forecast doesnt look great so am putting together a list of 'things to do' - not actually from n yorks myself so any yorkshire mums got any ideas?!! Last holidays we were looking for a soft play in Leeds area, but weren't too pleased with those we found. We ended up going to Time Machine in Harrogate, which children really enjoyed (and we didnt find too bad either! nice coffee (which is always a plus!) and good play facilities, quite expensive, but nice staff etc) - is this still going, and is it still clean? (Can only face indoor play centres if clean and dont smell!!) Anywhere else that would be 'bearable' in Leeds, Harrogate, York area?? Look forward to any comments, thoughts or ideas?!! (Or failing that the promise of of sunny and quiet Easter holiday? - Can always hope!) CS

Sister in Law and family live in Adel, Leeds so will be stying with them - its one of those twice a year things (Easter and Xmas hols) plus the odd day for b'days etc. Otherwise doent see them very often so nice to go out and take them places. Dont want to do teh soft play circuit too much, but its handy if the weathers hrrible which, lets face it isnt that rare in n Yorks or in fact the UK! With SIL working she doesnt take them too far from home, so a few family trips out will be on the cards I suspect!! Thansk for your comments, will have to have a look at Coolcts and Playdayz - are you Harrogate or Leeds Yorkiegirl?
