January Holiday Ideas

Looking for somewhere to go for one week, possibly 10 days for DH and myself and our (will be) six month EBF baby. We need to go in January due to DH's work schedule and we'd like it to be warm-25c. No real budget yet. We won't go to Egypt or Dubai, and would prefer a max 10 hour flight.

So far I have considered:

Antigua
Puna Cana in DR
Cape Town
Canaries- but think the weather is too hot or miss.

We've been to Mexico, Florida and Barbados so would like somewhere new. Any ideas or thoughts on these places?

SE Asia ticks the temperature box, but not sure how long the flights are from uk as have not lived there for over 20 years.
Don't think the canaries will be warm enough.
I would also be concerned about vaccinations for your baby.

Sri Lanka

I love the Caribbean in January but it would have been a bit too hot for my kids at 6 months old I'd have spent a lot of time in the aircon with them. However antigua, Grenada and St Lucia and the Grenadines are all lovely and actually better in some ways than Barbados.

Thanks for the ideas. I did think Sri Lanka but DH and I have been already so wanted somewhere new ideally.

Canaries should be a lovely temperature at that time of year. And only a 4 hour flight (10 hours could feel like a long time with a baby).
