Hi there, wondering if anyone can help. A very well known ski holiday company have cancelled our holiday due to a 'commercial decision to withdraw the flights' as apparently not enough people have booked. It is to a Scandinavian country and there are no alternative flights.

They have only offered to refund or for us to rebook something else through them at today's prices. A quick google suggests they should be offering us an alternative at no additional cost, but how do I go about getting them to do this? We are on a budget and what we had booked looked like an amazing deal in terms of quality and price, and now there seems nothing that matches up anywhere in Europe!

Hi, you need to read the small print on your booking confirmation. Tour operators sometimes include exactly such a clause. It's obviously not very customer friendly, so you could name and shame them online.

Hi, thanks for the response. Their T&Cs do actually say they will offer an equivalent holiday in these circumstances, so I've sent an email to let them know that what they are currently offering is not acceptable. If they don't come up with the goods I shall certainly be naming and shaming!
