Next week I'm taking my 16 year old aspie to Krakow for 5 days, just me and him.
He definitely wants to visit Auschwitz and the Jewish quarter. We will be staying in central old Krakow. Does anyone have any other hints and tips for me. I'm a bit worried 5 days will be too long. I don't speak any polish so would worry about going too far outside of Krakow

On Florianska Street just off the main square theres a haunted passage type place, Lost Souls Alley

There are quite a few museums, one under the cloth hall in the main square. Theres a chocolate museum too I believe.

Also, Wawel castle is nice, walkable from the main square.

We did a city tour on a golf buggy, that was nice to see the architechture and the jewish quarter / schindlers factory without the legwork.

You can go on a trabant tour to Nova Huta, its a communist place

Near the train station just outside the walls of the old town is the huge moder shopping centre Galeria Krakowska. Like a massive Westfields type shopping centre :)

have a great time!
