One adult, one child?

Hello,
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction of where's best to book and where is best to go?
I don't have a lot of money to spend but I really really want to take my daughter away somewhere nice.
I just can't see many 'late deals' that cater to one adult and one child. It's all family stuff Sad

How old is your daughter, where do you want to go, what kind of holiday do you want?

We're a family of 5 but I sometimes take just one child away for a specific break, and DH has done as well - it's easier than going away as a family in our experience! However we do that for city breaks (me) or to attend events (DH) not beach holidays, which might be harder to avoid paying a premium for... although there are entire holiday companies catering specifically to single parents! singlewithkids.co.uk/single-parent-holidays/

Do you have to go during the school holidays, or is your DC not yet in school.?
