4 night break September

Looking for a reasonably priced 4 night European break on 11/9 , near a beach , for me and DH. First holiday without DS since our honeymoon (Dublin 1997! ) .

I've looked in a few websites but any advice would be great. Basically just want to flop, sunbathe, eat and drink - it's been a hell of a year!

I'd say Barcelona, though the weather can be a bit tricky towards the end of September. Malaga would also work. Tons of flights, a nice city and a good city beach too. Other than that have a look at Nice.

What about Valencia or Palma? Both gorgeous cities with beaches.

Malta? Nerja?

Did Barca with the girls last year loved it.

Good hints keep them coming - also any recommended sites to book on?

We used ATO-TOURS, a new company for our trip to Dublin this year. They were very easy to deal with and after having a nightmare experience with Expedia's customer service, I'll book with a small company where you can actually talk to someone any time.
Lisbon with nearby Cascais is amazing too.

Palma will still be hot then. Book flights and hotel separately, often cheaper than a tour operator.
Illetas beach is lovely but still in the city

Baleriacs or southern Italy will still be lovely and warm, everything open but no crowding.

I love Berlin and it'll be lovely in September. So much to do, cheap to eat out really well, amazing galleries, museums and sights. Boat trips, lake swimming, beach bars. Some great Air BnB apartments and public transport really easy to use awesomeberlin.net
