Hi we are off to Duinrell next week and are planning a day or two in Amsterdam but not sure what to do once we get there !

Although I would love the museums I'm not sure it would be something that would keep them interested for long.

We're happy to walk lots and explore but any recommendations to keep teens engaged ?!

I went with my 14 year old son a year or so ago. He liked the Heineken Experience. We also did the Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank's house. Other than that we just walked around (although did do an evening cruise) and ate out. The pancake houses might go down well with teenagers!

Will you have a car?

Corpus, A Journey through the human body is great for all ages. Can't remember how far it is from Duinrell/Amsterdam but easy to get to from Duinrell.

The Nemo Science Musesum in Amsterdam is great too. About a 10 minute walk from the train station. There's the Ice Bar, under 18 can go too.

Madame Taussades (can't spell that lol), canal trip, torture museum.

There's loads to do in Amserdam, even just walking around is great.

Take a ferry from the central station to Amsterdam Noord. It's really cool and the teenagers will love it!

Go somewhere else and wait until 18 for Dam.
