Holiday to Llafranc with kids

Hi, can anyone PLEASE advise? 😬
I have booked an apartment near the beach in Llafranc in Costa Bravo, Spain.
The last few years, we have holidayed at the same resort, but this year we are daring to be different and have booked Llafranc as I have heard it has a beautiful bay for children. Mine are still quite small and I am now panicing that I will be stuck for things to do, so I am frantically searching for a child friendly nearby pool or any local evening hotel entertainment, parks on the beach.....anything!
Can anyone please advise? I would be so grateful. I know there are nearby resorts..Begur and Calella de Palafrugell.
Many Thanks in advance 😳

Hopefully someone who knows the resort a bit better will be along, but we had a lovely holiday there quite a few years ago - it is really beautiful. We went with extended family so weren't really looking for entertainment, but I seem to remember that at night everyone was out strolling along the beach and promenade, getting ice creams etc. so there may well be music and stuff to entertain the kids.

There is a lovely walk between Calella and Llafranc which I would definitely recommend - I did it with a buggy although there are a few steps. Calella had these amazing rocks to climb on just on the shore and was another lovely town to wander around. I'm sure we went to a little playground there, near a church.

There is a big campsite just on the edge of Calella which has nightly entertainment. Some of our party used to go to the bar there at night, no one stopped them! Oh, and there is the obligatory little train that goes between the two resorts and right up to a viewpoint.

Hope that helps a bit, I always meant to go back there, it was great!

We just went to the beach everyday. It's a quiet place with lots of lovely beaches and bays. Good restaurants.

Tamariu is really lovely with an amazing diving board. And there is a big look out point between callella and there with a cool bar/cafe.

Begur has a walled castle. Nice squares with cafes and food.

It's quite quiet though and the whole reason we go. It's not resorty and nary a karaoke bar or Elvis impersonator for miles! Grin

Oh this thread has brought back happy memories. We used to go there over 20 years ago when the DC were little. So happy to hear that the diving board in Tamariu is still in existence!!! Another place up the coast with a fab beach is Aiguablava.

Thats so helpful!! Thank you so much. I have looked online at the campsite, so will certainly give that a go. It sounds like a wonderful little resort. Thanks again
