Milan with a baby!

We are heading to Lake Como for a week but thinking of adding in an extra 3 nights somewhere. We have a 9 month old, would Milan be suitable?? We don't intend to do anything in particular, just wander around, eat lunch & soak up the atmosphere TIA

Personally I think Milan for 3 nights with a baby would be a bit boring. I don't really find it great for wandering around - too busy! But it depends what you are looking for.

You are very near Switzerland which is gorgeous. However, if just for 3 nights, Milan would be fine. It is busy but as long as you not rushing anywhere you should be fine. The duomo is amazing

@Bosabosa Switzerland would be amazing but I think it's a bit too much of a detour...I'll look into it though.

We are easily pleased & happy just to have nice food/walk around!

@allegretto take note of it being v busy though, I would expect that but could be stressful with a pushchair.

I would do 1 night in Verona and 2 in Milan. Verona is beautiful, go see Juliet's balcony and the Colosseum.

@Auchan been to Verona, agree beautiful but think 3 destinations in 10 days would be too much with a LO. Thanks though.

I've lived in Milan, I think 3 days would give you time to see lots of things. The city center has lots to see, the Duomo, if you can get the lift to the roof, and Castello Sforzesco and gardens, The last supper and the church beside it is gorgeous. The natural history museum is really cool. You can do tours of La Scala too. It's a gorgeous city!

@Auchan ahhh that all sounds lovely! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, I'll look into those things
