How can I get this flight cheaper (+car hire) (Ba LGW-tampa)

Can anyine suggest ways of getting this flight cheaper ...LGW-Tampa on 13/dec BA Direct return Thurs 3rd Jan..2 adults 3 children (9,7,6,) one infant on lap...also need 6 seater cheapest car fo the duration

If you want to specifically fly direct to Tampa BA is the only UK based carrier that do so. Tampa is actually a really nice US airport to fly into, as they don't get many international flights arrive at their time of arrival it can be far quicker to get through immigration (time we spent in queue - 5 minutes!). I wish all US airports were as pleasant to use as Tampa.

If you want to fly to Orlando and then drive down to Tampa then you have more choice (i.e BA or Virgin) but you will still have that drive of at least an hour (and after an 9 hour flight I would not recommend it). You will also have to return to Orlando to get the flight home. Arriving into one US airport and departing from another can become very expensive indeed.
