Hotels in Amsterdam mid-September

Does anyone have any hotels/apartments they would recommend for a couple with a young baby? We've booked a last minute mon-fri break but struggling to find cheap but decent accommodation. I naively thought we would find somewhere for less than £100/night, but no luck so far! I'm happy to use air bnb byt my DH less so. Husband would also like to be fairly close to the center of Amsterdam which i doubt we can afford!

Ouch, September is the most expensive month in Amsterdam and it's almost impossible to find a decent hotel near the centre within this budget. For 100£ p/n you'd be looking at the airport area. I would suggest to look at places a bit further outside, such as The Hague, which has a nice beach too.

Or Haarlem which is only a 10 min train journey. Its a lovely city with lots of lovely restaurants &cafes.

My sister suggested Haarlem also so I'll definitely look into that, I never considered the Hague either. Thanks!
