Hi, after some tips if anyone can help. We fly to Cyprus in Oct, flight departs c8pm, the issue i have is my daughter goes to bed around 7:15pm and only sleeps in her cot, how on earth am i meant to get her to sleep on one of us for the flight? Tried a few times recently but she just fights with us.
We don't have a sling etc as when out she now goes in one of the big backpack carriers (she's 1)

You have to be a bit flexible when travelling. She may fall asleep in buggy in airport or on your lap on plane or in transfer vehicle on arrival. at some point she'll get so tired she'll fall asleep.

Just go with the attitude she won't sleep and then anything else is a bonus ! Holidays and travelling in general are not generally conducive to sticking to the normal routine , just keep relaxed and go with the flow.

Some babies just conk out on planes, maybe you'll get lucky. Fingers crossed.

Thank you, i hope so, she was great when we flew back from the US in June but we took off at 6pm and she had a bassinet. Will be doing as we do at home, sleeping bag, white noise (on very low so we dont disturb other passengers)

the plane is white noise - if that helps her to sleep then you're laughing!
