Ibiza advice please

We have a family wedding in Ibiza at the beginning of July next year. We've never flown with the kids (7+5) and haven't done a Spain holiday or a term time one before. We usually do France driving holidays.

We don't know Ibiza at all so any recommendations for family friendly, quiet and close to a beach hotels, apartments, resorts or villas would be very gratefully received. The same for any advice on places to avoid. Wedding is on the eastern side of the island if that makes any difference.

Also- with planes, where would you prefer to reserve seats? Middle? Totally clueless here.

TIA

Hi I,ve been to Ibiza 4 times, beautiful Island to get married. With kids you,ll want to avoid the clubbing resorts of San Antonio & Playa D'en Bossa as these are clubbing resorts.
I,ve stayed twice on the East coast resort of Es Cana which is a nice family place,or Cala Llonga which is only a small resort but is lovely. Not sure about West coast resorts for families though, but its only a small island so easy enough to get about using taxis, bus or the water taxis round the island.

Where is the wedding being held ?

Cala Tarida on the west coast is a lovely family friendly place

We took our 4 kids to Ibiza (5, 2, and 10 month old DTs). We love Ibiza and have been lots without kids but really enjoyed it with the family.

We stayed at the Sensatori in Cala Tarida which was amazing and would go back. Cala Tarida and San An Bay (plus the bits in between) are Good for families. We went without the kids to the Grand palladium white isle resort which is in playa den bossa and also family friend and gorgeous.

Flying with older kids like yours flying should be a doddle. We always sit at front with extra leg room.

Love Ibiza. Can't wait to take kids back.

Thanks for these! The reception is close to Cala tarida I think. Any other recommendations around there? I'll look into the sensatori now. Thanks!

Do you definately want a hotel ?

The Las Terrazas apartment complex is superb. Just 5 mins walk from the beach and a few lovely bars/restaurants.

Cala Vadella just down the coast is also very pretty but the beach gets more crowded in July

Not set on a hotel really. Just would like a pool and maybe a park for the kids.

Thanks for those- I'll have a look now.

Wedding is in es cubells and reception near Cala tarida.

Las tarrazas looks lovely. When we're you there? Recently?

*were
I only ask as the reviews I've seen are from a couple of years ago.

Does anyone have any other ideas/suggestions? I think we would prefer a hotel now that we've thought about it. It's proving difficult to find a hotel on the west coast that ties in with decent flights to be honest.

Could you not book flights and hotel separately? I often do that
