short sunny break when 7 months pregnant?

Hello everyone, I am dying to get away for the May bank holiday, by which time I?ll be 7 months pregnant. I know I?ll probably need the all clear to fly, but if I get it, can anyone recommend somewhere for 4/5 nights in Europe where it will be hot enough to lie around by a pool and swim during the day, but nowhere too ?naff resorty? ? don?t want to be stranded in some vast hotel complex in the middle of nowehere, so somewhere in a town (or even city) with restaurants/the odd thing to do would be great.

Because of the pg factor, it would be best if it?s not too overwhelmingly ?hectic? (ie prob not Morrocco!) Am thinking more along the lines of Sicily/Sardinia or the nicer parts of the canaries but having problems finding anything that is not for a whole week or too ?all inclusive?. Anyone got any location/hotel suggestions? Advice much appreciated! Xxx

Not sure how much money you want to spend but I highly recommend the anassa in Cyprus. Guaranteed good weather, lovely hotel (although a bit pricey) and lovely spa. absolutely not naff.

Agree vv Cyprus is beautiful. Although flight may be bit on the long side for comfort. What about France thinking an hour flight might be better ?

Sardinia is beautiful! The beaches are beautiful and the water is clear. I went with a friend who booked everything in Italian through an Italian tour operator, so I can't even remember the name of the resort where we stayed. I do think that most places there are quite nice, but agree that you might have trouble finding less than a week. What about Malta? I have heard that it can be quite nice.

Worried France might not be hot enough, and think the hotel in Cyprus might be slightly out of my price range - looks AMAZING though! Sardinia could be good...anyone else have any ideas? xxx

South of France should be ok. The village pool where our villa is opens from the end of April - they wouldn't bother if it wasn't warm enough.
Also, you would not have to fly. You could get Eurostar and the TGV

There are other hotels like that in Cyprus which I think are less expensive. The annabelle?
