Hand luggage restrictions ?

Am I right in thinking that the hand luggage restrictions are back to normal now ? We're flying Monarch at the weekend and kids will want their various bits and pieces with them. Anyone flown recently who could confirm please ?

The extremely restrictive hand luggage restrictions that happened last August have been relaxed thankfully.

There is still a 100ml limit on any liquids taken on board.
