We think we want Europe. We always do villa with our own pool and eat out but this year the kids have bickered quite a lot (9&12) and spent a lot of time of screens and frankly I've been a bit bored so now we're wondering about a water park based hotel (as water parks always our best day out) or a small apartment complex- could be anywhere although dh won't do Portugal and I'm very reluctant to consider Turkey - help please!

Have a look at the splashworlds by first choice.

Are you sure? Choose carefully! A lot of hotels also open up the waterpark bit to outsiders and they can get horrendously busy. My friend went to one in Egypt and they wee overrun by Russians every day and kids could t get on the slides! What about a general hotel/apartment block which may have. Slide or 2 and have a day at the waterpark? Kids might make friends more easily if it's just the same kids at the pool every day.

Just have been a while ago as there are no flights from Russia to Egypt after the plane crash. We have been to Egypt splashworlds 3 times in the last 18 months and never had this issue.

Have you looked at places such as Tenerife/ Majorca family orientated and some have unlimited entry to water park included in price. First choice do this but they're all inclusive holidays.

Turkey!

Much cheaper than Spain and Greece; nearly every 4 star resort have on site water parks. Antalya region is best for beaches. We've been on some fantastic trips - some cultural/historical places.

Don't believe anyone who says it's dangerous. It's our favourite place to go, never had an issue with security OR the locals.

in fact, don't ANYONE go. need to keep it a secret so prices stay low

Some people I know turn up their noses at holidaying in a muslim country racists and then when I ask 'have you been?' they always reply with 'no'! But they know all about it apparently!
