Things to do around Aberystwyth

Any top tips for holiday activities around Aberystwyth for us? Anything for rainy days would be good! We have an 8 yr old and a 4 yr old.

Hi been to aber several times.

For dry days: there is a steam train to devils bridge where there is a lovely walk. Also ok for wet day.
Constitution hill in Aberystwyth is worth a visit.
Nant yr Arian just outside aber is a lovely natural area with a good park and ok cafe.
There is a lovely park and crazy golf in Aberystwyth town.
Ynyslas has great sand dunes to run down.

For wet days

There is a soft play place near aberaeron. (Maybe 15 mins from Aberystwyth) .
There is a national trust place in llanarchaeron which is near aberaeron and quite nice.

There is a pottery cafe thing near aber. I think it's in Borth/Aberaeron

Go up the furnicular railway and have a coffee/ lunch stop / walk at the top?

Paddle on the beach....

Go to the honey farm at aberaeron and eat honey ice cream / learn about bees ..

Go to cei Bach beach and re live my childhood summers ...

Then if you are us, drive round in the rain being British and " making the best of it"😂

There is also a butterfly house which is ok not amazing.

Inland there Corris craft centre and king Arthur's labyrinth is excellent.
