I have been to Greece a lot (pre children) and over the last few years have done a few Nielson breaks (needed the childcare) but now our kids are slightly older I think we would prefer something a bit quieter but ideally still with the option of babysitting but not necessarily a kids club.
I am really looking for a small ish hotel / group of apartments and for late season (October) so thinking Southern Greece is best, Crete, Rhodes etc? I prefer other Islands but because of the time of year it is tricky to get flights and I realise weather might not be so good in October half term in Corfu / Paxos etc.
Has anyone been anywhere nice they would recommend? Doesn't need to be especially posh / luxury although happy for those recommendations too :-)
