Off to Greece soon for a week l, first self catering holiday in a long time. I'm worried that we aren't going to be able to eat out as much as we'd planned as the exchange is so poor now and that even buying snacks and drinks at the supermarket will be expensive. DC have been used to AI where they and we don't have to think about the cost and I don't want to spoil their holiday by being tight.
Should I pack a suitcase with goods like biscuits, cereals, ice pops that we can freeze, brioche and bits and bobs as well as the usual tea and coffee? I just feel that £50 spent in Aldi's might save me a fortune out there.
