Recommendations on holiday destinations within Europe with a family of 4 - one 3 year old and 8 month old?

Hi - new to Mumsnet
I was wondering if anyone could make any suggestions as to where we could go with our kids aged 3 yrs and 8 month old. Looking to go early September this year for 4 nights. Somewhere that is kids friendly with a mix of city and beach plus great food and laid back vibe. Plus good transport links and decent hotels. Considering somewhere we can put our 3 year old in a kids club for a few hours whilst exploring the city and eating and drinking! Any suggestions/recommendations? Thanks 😊

Many kids clubs only take 4 years old and up so look for somewhere with a crèche. Baby boltholes and tots too are good websites and sovereign families. Palma in majorca or Barcelona would fit the bill.

Barcelona for sure, or maybe Malaga. Tons of flights, a really nice old town and great transport links to various beach resorts.
Saloniki in Greece would also be great.

I'm really sorry but I don't get this. You would leave your young children with people you didn't know in order to go drinking in a foreign city??

I understand kids clubs when you stay at the resort but this is something else.
