DH needs help in MANCHESTER

Dh & friends are going to Manchester for a stag weekend on either 12th & 19th May. They have no plans at all, other than it is def Manchester. They need cheap & CLEAN b& b or similar. Help me prove that mn works -whatcha got for me, you Manchunian Mumsnetters!

Great decision for your DH to visit the best city in the UK (OK, I'm biased!!!). Would probably recommend one of the budget hotels in Manchester as opposed to B&Bs...very good Novotel in Manchester which is slap bang in the City Centre near to Chinatown. Ibis, Travelodge and Holiday Inn Express may also be worth checking out.

Just remembered...Manchester has a brilliant Youth Hostel...about £75 for a room that sleeps 4 if memory serves.

Travellodge is ok at Deansgate. Stopped in it a Christmas. Basic but you can have brekkie and there's a bar etc. Think it was 35 pound a room
