Travelling to Pine Cliffs with 3 kids in August. Any tips about what to take eg do they have beach/ pool toys and any restaurant tips please.

The best restaurants are a short (20 minute) walk away in Olhos D'Agua. We did this frequently with the smallest in a buggy. The parade of restaurants outside the entrance to Pine Cliffs is ok too. The worst meal of our holiday was in The Piri Piri restaurant in the hotel itself and I would give that a miss if we ever went back. It really was a crime against one of my favourite national dishes!

Beach restaurant is good but slow service. There's another beach bar to the far right hand side: a little more rough and ready than the hotel's offering but fantastic fish.

Have a lovely holiday!

If you are there when the sardine festival is on, it's well worth going to Olhos D'Agua.
