Car seats for 3 children

We're flying to Italy to eurocamp soon, can't wait! But what do people do when you need car seats for 3 kids? We're having to hire a car and to hire car seats is too expensive at £60 each. We use a group 0, a group 1 and a group 2 seat. They're so big!

Take them or hire them are the only options surely?

Aldi had bubblebums a few weeks ago. Blow up boosters . We used them this week in Italy and they were fine . Ask around friends as people must have bought them

Some airlines allow you to take a car seat free of charge in the hold for each child under 5. EasyJet and BA, for example.

I think all airlines allow car seats free in the hold, goes as oversize baggage, in the same way as pushchairs. Ryanair and Monarch and Volotea definitely do.

EasyJet take car seats free of charge. My DC are 5 and 7 so I messaged them on Facebook just to confirm that was the case as it's very unclear on the website. No problems though! Not sure about other airlines.
