Thinking of going next weekend but will be taking various family members, It's an hour + drive away so wanted to make sure it was worth it.
Ages of kids going are 3,12 & 14

Definitely worth a visit. There are enough rides etc to keep the older ones happy and plenty for the little one too.

My DDs are 13 and 3. To be honest, my 13 year old wouldn't go to Paultons - she used to enjoy it, and they have got a couple of bigger rides, but it depends what the older kids enjoy. Paultons is a bit like Lego in that it's best for under 10s in my opinion. Older kids prefer Thorpe Park (if they are adrenaline junkies) or Chessington (a bit milder than Thorpe).

If you do go to Paultons, watch out for the little "extras" - not as bad as all the arcades at Chessington/Thorpe, but it does bug me that they have machines that cost extra when you've already paid an arm and a leg to get in! Paultons has some remote control trucks, a couple of shooting/firehose aiming games and the usual sweet dispensers that all cost extra. And some petrol go-karts too, I think.

Yes, it's great - we went two years ago. Small scale rides though, tell your older ones not to expect Alton Towers!
