Off to the central algarve - must sees and things to do

Off to the Algarve for the first time on Saturday, would love your ideas of any towns, villages, sights that you think we should see or activities we could do.

We will have a car so can travel around from our base outside Carvoeiro

I recommend:
A walk around the town of Lagos and marina - lots of great restaurants
A trip to Sagres/cape st Vincent
Lots of beach trips - algarve beaches are the best in the world!
