vaccinations for DS (13) visiting Croatia

I have been an inexcusably slack parent, and realise that in 20 days time DS is going on a school trip in 20 days to Croatia, and I had not thought about whether he needs any additional jabs.

The tour operator says 'Hepatitis A and Typhoid are water borne diseases and recommend'. But I think that is their generic advice (lots of school trips to Africa/ South America), other websites don't specify that for Croatia, however do mention the dangers of tick borne encephalitis (TBE).

DS is going to be trekking/ sea kayaking/ camping for just a week - don't want to panic, but am usually quite laissez-faire, so don't want to be irresponsible either.

Any advice, o wise MNetters?

www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations/europe--russia/croatia.aspx - doesn't seem to specify jabs apart from the usual UK ones

www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Tick-borne-encephalitis/Pages/Beforeyougopage.aspx - looks like 3 doses are needed for THE at £50-£70 each. Might be a bit late for this one

DS and I go every year to Croatia and have done for last 5 years. Neither of us have ever had jabs Shock

We also go most years with young DC and have never been advised to get jabs albeit we go to the beach not camping in woods.

Surely school would have advised?
